Seeing Ourselves introduces Acadiana to historical and contemporary photographic masterpieces from the George Eastman House Collection. The exhibition of 155 images is organized in broad subject-based groupings that represent more than 150 years of photography, rather than as a chronological survey.

Living Color: Photographs by Judy Cooper The rich and diverse cultural heritage of New Orleans has served as the inspiration and focus for New Orleans' photographer Judy Cooper. These images, created over a span of twenty years, document a photographer's engagement with the personalities, and cultural traditions of her adopted home.

Jantje Visscher's Drawings in Light explores the world of nature through the lens of science and geometry. In these new works, lights shine on strips of clear, shiny plastic (she uses either acetate or “pteg,” a kind of polyethylene, which is a common and hard-to-open packaging material).

Animals in Bronze. From prehistoric Near Eastern art, to Egyptian, Greek and Roman art, and the undercurrents of the Renaissance, there has been fluctuating interest in animals as artistic subjects. The prominence of art depicting domestic and wild beasts re-emerged in the 19th century with the birth of the animalier genre. September 27th- December 31st
