Medication Administration Policy |
|||||||||||||||||||
| Parents of child and the child’s physician are the primary “teacher” and “resource” for child
care providers as related to the amount of medication, time of administration, route of administration
and other related issues. Our goal as child care providers is to “assist” parents in keeping
their child safe and healthy.
The following are revision to the States Policy on Administering Medications at a Child Care Center. Please see the office if you have any questions or concerns.
Cooperation and collaboration between parents and staff to provide for safe, appropriate administration of medications is required and mandated to assure safe and healthy children. |
