The National Estuarine Habitats and Coastal Fisheries Center is in University Research Park on UL Lafayette’s campus. It is owned by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and houses a variety of agencies, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Geological Service Biological Resources Division.
