VIGIL, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FORUM AT UL LAFAYETTE
 
Event: Vigil, Forum in remembrance of late students Keosha Spikes and Tonya Major

Date: Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Time: 5:30 p.m. vigil, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. domestic violence forum

Location: Vigil near Moody Hall with unveiling of bench in memory of Keosha Spikes. Forum will be in the Student Union Bayou Bijou.

Information:
The Theta Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. will present “Justice for Spikes…The Prophecy Continues” – a domestic violence forum on Wednesday. The panel will include representatives from Women Organizing Women, Faith House, Hearts of Hope and Acadiana Legal Services. Prior to the forum, a bench in memory of Keosha Spikes. Spikes and Tonya Major were both UL Lafayette students who died as a result of domestic violence.
