Louisiana at Lafayette, home of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns. I invite you to take a closer look at UL Lafayette, Louisiana's second largest university. Located about three hours northwest of New Orleans, we are situated in the middle of a rich cultural area known as Acadiana. We are famous for our superb food, hospitality and joie de vivre, or joy of life. I hope you spend some time at this web site learning more about the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. And, if you get a chance, please visit our campus. Stroll beneath massive oaks that were planted in 1900 by UL Lafayette's first president.
